The successful applicant will have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal with sensitive issues with confidentiality. Duties will be varied; however, they include general typing, data entry, receipting and reception duties.The successful applicant will also have sound organisational and time management skills with the ability to use a range of programs including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, FMS/COMPASS (a finance/student database) or something similar.</p><p><b>About Corowa: </b></p><p>To support the community’s lifestyle, Federation Council at Corowa provides a comprehensive range of community and library services, events, venues, public spaces and parks, as well as sport and recreation facilities. To find out more, click <a href="https://www.federationcouncil.nsw.gov.au/Living-Here" rel="nofollow">here</a>.</i></p><p><b>Selection Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>An understanding of and commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education. </li><li>Able to meet current Covid-19 vaccination requirements </li><li>Current Working with Children Check </li><li>Current First Aid/CPR qualification. </li><li>An effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment.</li><li>An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Highly developed organisational skills.</li><li>A high level of ability to deal with sensitive issues with confidentiality. </li><li>High level of computer literacy and proficiency, including the ability to produce complex </li><li>MS Word documents, Excel skills and the ability to use the Google Suite of products, </li><li>including GMail, Google Drive and Google Docs. </li><li>Experience working in similar role preferable but not essential</li></ul><p><b>The Role would entail some of the following duties: </b></p><ul><li>Greet and attend to all visitors and where necessary refer them to appropriate persons. </li><li>Answer and deal with phone calls, referring where necessary. </li><li>Administer sick bay and first aid for students, contact parents of sick students and arrange for their care and record outcomes.</li><li>Ensure that the reception is not unmanned during its hours of operation. </li><li>Creating the school newsletter each week. </li><li>Inputting and updating student attendance information each day. </li><li>Creating and sending messages to parents via COMPASS. </li><li>Receiving &amp; processing of deliveries. </li><li>Receipting and banking of cash/other receipts of monies as required.</li><li>Assist families with fee queries and payment terms as directed by the Principal or Principal Admin Assistant.</li><li>Assume any other duties as requested/directed by the Principal or Principal Admin Assistant.</li></ul><p><b>What is next? </b></p><p>If you are interested in this position and would like further information, please contact <b>Glenn McMahon</b> on <b>02 60331183.</b></p><p>Applicants should submit a resume and cover letter addressing the selection criteria via email to <a href="mailto:mcmahong2&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">mcmahong2&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au</a> </p><p>Applications close on <b>Friday 15 July 2022</b></p>
