St Brendan's Catholic Primary School Lake Munmorah has an opportunity for a Teacher Librarian to work with us one day per week until the end of the 2022 school year.

Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School Lake Munmorah is seeking to appoint a <b>Teacher Librarian</b>. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team. </p><p>This is a temporary, part-time, 0.2FTE position until the end of the 2022 school year.</p><p>We are looking for highly skilled and passionate teacher to inspire, motivate and engage students. Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students. </p><p><b>Specific Criteria</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Study and or experience in a teacher librarian role.</li></ul><ul><li>Highly effective practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School.</li></ul><ul><li>Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices.</li></ul><ul><li>Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community.</li></ul><ul><li>Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, colleagues, parents/carers and community members.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p></p><p><b>Vaccination Requirements for our Staff </b></p><p>Our Covid-19 Vaccination Policy requires that all school staff have received two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccine or possess a valid contraindication medical certificate. These requirements are essential to gain employment with Catholic Schools Broken Bay.
