Is a new P-Yr12 school located at Edmondson Park. It is the result of a partnership between the CEO Wollongong and EREA.

<p><b>Location:</b> St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park</p><p>St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing P-12 school with a student population exceeding 1250 students in 2022 (K-12). The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8) and Senior Years Learning (9-12).</p> <p><span style="color: #000000">A temporary full time parental leave replacement position commencing <span style="color: #ff0000"><span style="color: #000000">15 August 2022 until 20 December 2022 (with the possibility of extending into 2023).&nbsp;</span></span>&nbsp;The successful applicant will be required to teach HSIE (Years 7-10).&nbsp; &nbsp;The role of the Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</span></p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in HSIE.</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).</li> <li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach, and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>VACCINATION REQUIREMENT</p> <p>CEDoW recognises the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone in the workplace is central to the mission and success of our schools and offices.
