The Marketing Communications and Events Officer works collaboratively within the Advancement team to support the development of multimedia marketing and communication collateral and organisation of College events. This includes ensuring all communications, publications and associated tasks are performed with guidance from the Marketing and Communications Coordinator and Advancement Manager.

This is an Education Support Officer (ESO) Grade 3 position, 37.5 hours/week. </div><div><br /></div><p><b>The details for this opportunity: </b></p><p>The Marketing Communications and Events Officer works collaboratively within the Advancement team to support the development of multimedia marketing and communication collateral and organisation of College events. This includes ensuring all communications, publications and associated tasks are performed with guidance from the Marketing and Communications Coordinator and Advancement Manager. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Assist in creating and maintaining social media content across all College platforms along with all associated tasks. </li><li>Assist with the maintenance of the College website. </li><li>Collate content and produce the weekly digital newsletter The Ignatian </li><li>Under direction from the Marketing and Communication Coordinator, compile content of the annual Yearbook. </li><li>Generate marketing material, including advertisements, booklets and graphics under direction of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. </li><li>Assist in the organisation of College events overseen by the Advancement Office, for example Valete, Speech Day. </li><li>Coordinate and/or photograph events and activities for College publications and media platforms. </li><li>In conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, oversee the adherence College corporate brand identity. </li><li>Some out of hours work required. </li></ul><p><b>Essential Professional Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Formal Qualifications in Marketing, Communication or Design (or demonstrated experience) </li><li>Experience working in digital media development, web publishing and working knowledge of social media platforms </li><li>Excellent written communication, editing and copywriting skills </li><li>Experience in event coordination </li><li>Proficient with the Adobe Creative suite, specifically Indesign and Illustrator </li><li>Proficient with Office 365 </li></ul><p><b>Essential Personal Requirements </b></p><ul><li>Participate and complete the Ignatian Induction Program in the first year of employment. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people </li><li>Effective communication skills and the ability to relate to students, staff, parents and Old Ignatians </li><li>Demonstrated capacity to take on responsibility and work independently </li><li>Excellent organisational skills </li><li>Flexible and adaptable in approach to work </li><li>Efficient organisational skills and initiative </li><li>High level of professional personal attention </li><li>Work well in a team. </li><li>Experience working in a similar role in a school and photography skills are desirable. </li></ul><p><b><i>COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence: </i></b></p><p><i>Employment and commencement is subject to the provision of evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19 or the provision of a medical exemption endorsed by the Chief Public Health Officer. </i></p><p>For more information on the position and application process, please visit the College website: https://ignatius.sa.edu.au </p><p>Applications should be directed to Samantha Trenerry, Head of Business and be submitted in PDF format with a completed Applicant Declaration form for the attention of Rebecca Giovine, People and Culture Manager, emailed to employment&#64;ignatius.sa.edu.au </p><p><b>The closing date for applications will be 9:00am Monday, 18 July 2022. </b></p><p>Late applications cannot be accepted.
