Ravenswood is inviting applications for the full-time, permanent position of Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher. The position will be commencing in Term 3, 2022.

<p><b>The School:</b></p><p>Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. The position will be commencing in Term 3, 2022. </p><p>The current teaching load includes Year 7 and 8 Technology Mandatory, Year 9 and 10 Textiles Technology and Year 10 Design and Technology. In 2023 this load can be adjusted to suit the skills and experience of the successful candidate. </p><p>To be successful in securing this position you will be an excellent and engaging classroom practitioner. You will demonstrate creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum, as well as having a flexible and collegial approach. </p><p>Essential criteria: </p><ul><li>Qualification in Education and registration with NESA; </li><li>Skills and experience in teaching TAS subjects including Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and some or all of the Stage 5 Electives; </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and requirements; </li><li>Experience in creating exciting and engaging programs and assessments; </li><li>Effective interpersonal communication skills; and </li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team. </li></ul><p><b>To Apply: </b></p><p>Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume. </p><p>Ravenswood School for Girls is dedicated to maintaining a child safe environment and is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children. </p><p>Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide the School with their Working with Children Check number and NESA Teacher Accreditation number in order to be eligible for this position.
