Santa Sabina is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled person to support the Director of Teaching and Learning P-12 with administrative and other tasks.

<p>Santa Sabina College Strathfield is a P-12 Catholic School in the Dominican tradition educating students to achieve personal excellence, to act with justice and compassion, and to embrace the future with an optimistic global vision. Located across eight hectares in Strathfield in Sydney’s multicultural inner west and enrolling over 1230 students, we offer a comprehensive co-education on our Del Monte Campus for P-4 and for girls 5-12 on our Santa Sabina Campus. Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. </p><p>Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus. Mary Bailey House provides education and care for children aged from six weeks to five years and the College also operates three separate OOSH services for five-year-olds to Year 6 students. OOSH provides before school, after school and vacation care for children during school holiday periods.</p><p>The Personal Assistant - Teaching and Learning, supports the Director of Teaching and Learning P-12 in the academic services and operations essential to a culture of academic achievement and excellence. A key role is to assist the Director of Teaching and Learning P-12 in the implementation of the College’s Strategic Plan.</p><p>The Personal Assistant - Teaching and Learning supports the Director of Teaching and Learning (P-12) and the Heads of Department (HoD) in their roles.They may also support other members of our College Leadership Team (CLT), when required. The position is responsible for seamless administrative support for the Director of Teaching and Learning, including management of appointments with parents and staff. The incumbent is the central point of contact for students, teachers and parents in regards to teaching and learning and is required to prepare and send correspondence and ensure a high level of accuracy of written communication and organisation skills.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>The role requires a person with a high level of professionalism as well as the ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality in all circumstances.</b></p><p><b> The successful candidate will:</b></p><ul><li>support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College</li><li>provide a warm welcome to staff, students and families</li><li>manage competing priorities and meet pressing deadlines</li><li>have meticulous attention to detail</li><li>possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills</li><li>have a high level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills</li><li>demonstrate high level skills and experience in a variety of computer programs and online systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Google applications and databases</li><li>be collaborative person who can work with a range of teams </li><li>possess strong administration skills including record keeping, digital diary management, correspondence and filing</li><li>have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance for paid employment</li><li>be compliant with NSW Department of Health Screening and Immunisation Policy (Double vaccination for COVID-19) </li></ul><p><b>Please visit the College website for further application details including a comprehensive role description: https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment/</b></p><p>Applications must contain a cover letter addressed to the College Principal, Ms Paulina Skerman, outlining relevant experience, a Curriculum Vitae and a completed College employment application form.
