The College seeks an experienced Leader of sport and coaching to commence Term 4, 2022.

The College shares a passion for a holistic education designed for learning, living and leading that anticipates the possibilities of the future. </p><p>We seek to grow each student to become a person of character who is inspired by excellence and adaptability, whose life is modelled on that of Jesus, and who, through courage, creativity, compassion and citizenship, strives to create a better world.</p><p><b>Position Overview</b></p><p>The Leader of Sport and Coaching is responsible for administering and coordinating the College weekly sporting program, representative sport program, carnivals and the sport and coaching program.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p>The following responsibilities are not exhaustive but are indicative of the scope and nature of the role.</p><ul><li>Coordinate the Primary and Secondary weekly sport and activities </li><li>Staff and contractor management </li><li>Coordinate College Sport Carnivals </li><li>Liaise with NCIS and CIS Sporting Associations and coordinate Regional and State Representation </li><li>Develop a coaching and activities program </li><li>Administer the student camp and outdoor education program </li><li>Oversee the operation of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program at the College </li><li>Create systems for the effective administration of the sports and coaching program</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications</b><br /></p><ul><li>Relevant qualification in sports management or administration. </li><li>Qualification/accreditation in a range of sports/activities. </li><li>First Aid Certification. </li><li>An enthusiastic and dynamic manner. </li><li>High level of organisational skill. </li><li>Capacity to work with students in a professional and appropriate manner. </li><li>Strong communication and technological skill.</li></ul><p><b>Personal Qualities and Attitudes</b><br /></p><ul><li>Willingness to support the Anglican ethos of the College. </li><li>Commitment to principals of work health and safety. </li><li> Ability to collaborate and work as a team member.</li></ul><p>A full position description is available on the College website www.eac.nsw.edu.au/about-us/employment<br /></p><p><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><br /></p><p>Application to include a covering letter outlining your suitability to this role, academic transcripts, Curriculum Vitae and details of three referees, are to be made to:<br /></p><p>The Principal</p><p>Emmanuel Anglican College</p><p>62 Horizon Drive</p><p>Ballina NSW 2478</p><p>or via email: employment&#64;eac.nsw.edu.au</p><p>By Monday 25 July 2022<br /></p><p><b>Successful applicants will be required to provide the College with a current NSW Working with Children Check number.</b><br /></p><p>CRICOS: 02449F<br /></p>
