<p>Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students. </p><p>The College seeks a committed educator with a clear vision for excellence to support the leadership of a large and successful TAS department, which is committed to curriculum development and excellent teaching.<br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to teach a range of subjects including; Technology Mandatory, Industrial Technology (Timber/Metal) and Design &amp; Technology. Further to this, experience in teaching Engineering Studies, Construction or STEM is desirable. The successful applicant will be experienced, qualified and have a proven record of successful student achievement. A demonstrated capacity to embrace the college’s Learning Framework and a collegial &amp; collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential. </p><p>The TAS department is situated in a modern, fully equipped building, specifically designed to provide wonderful facilities for both students and staff. </p><p>The College operates a Boarding and Extended day program for all students.
