Our mission is to know and love Christ through learning and our vision is to foster thriving Catholic communities through excellent teaching and learning.</p><p>The Leader of Diverse Learning K-12 role focuses on leading, advising, assisting and operationally supporting All Saints Catholic College in response to the unique learning needs of students who fall under the diverse learning umbrella of the College (ATSI, Learning Support, G&amp;T, EAL/D, ATSI). The Leader of Diverse Learning K-12 is directly responsible for leading the three learning support coordinators and actively ensuring ongoing commitment to superior practice by all teachers and staff at the Liverpool and Casula campuses of All Saints Catholic College. </p><p> The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:</p><ul><li>A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school within the broader Catholic Church.<br /></li><li>Working with and leading the various leaders and staff in the Diverse Learning directorate of the College.</li><li>Comprehensive background in learning support with a proven experience with the assessment, testing and identification of students with learning support needs.</li><li>Leadership qualities to assist and co-plan the development of learning goals, intervention programs, and curriculum differentiation.</li><li>Experience in the use of NCCD data collection requirements for relevant (DDA, DSE) which may include administering standardised assessment.</li><li>Experience with the collaborative design, implementation, modification and evaluation of Individual Adjustment Plans (IAPs) with class teachers, students, families and other relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborating with the Leader of Gifted and Talented to ensure the school NEWMAN program and gifted education across the College are as effective as possible.</li><li>Proven ability to lead a team and to be compliant with the documentation required under legislation.</li><li>Leading staff and assisting students with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education programs.</li><li>Developing teachers’ capacity to monitor students’ learning gains and social and emotional growth and to respond to this data appropriately.</li><li>Leading and collaborating with the Teacher in Charge of EAL/D to ensure the EAL/D offerings of the College are of the highest quality.</li><li>Ensuring that a range of assistive technologies supports diverse learning needs.</li></ul><p>The following General Capabilities are applicable to the role:</p><ul><li>Qualifications in the education of students with diverse learning needs.</li><li>Display a willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities within the school.</li><li>Be flexible and reliable.</li><li>Be able to work as part of a team.</li><li>Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).</li><li>Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to.</li></ul><p>Application Process: Applications must be addressed to the Principal, Mr Daniel McInerney via Seek with the following:</p><ul><li>a covering letter</li><li>a current resume</li><li>three referees, including name and contact details.</li></ul><p><b>Applications Close:</b> Friday 29th July 2022</p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
