Merici College is an IB World School, authorised to offer the Diploma Programme (Years 11-12) and the Middle Years Programme (Years 7-10).</span></p> <p><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt"><strong>About the Role</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">We have an <strong>exciting</strong>&nbsp;<strong>opportunity</strong>&nbsp;for a <strong>PE Studies Coordinator&nbsp;</strong>who has the demonstrated ability&nbsp;promote excellent outcomes in an all-girls environment.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">The position is responsible to the Deputy Principal Learning for the leadership of a curriculum area and, as a Middle Manager, shares responsibility for promoting the Catholic Ethos of the College and ensuring the pastoral welfare of staff and students.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">The Studies Coordinator having an essential leadership position in the College, is an exemplary teacher who leads innovation in his/her department to enhance learning outcomes for all students and works with the Executive and Middle Manager teams to develop and implement whole school goals.<br></span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt"><br><em>Please note that this position is for an initial two-year period with an opportunity for further extensions. Two further extensions (each of four years) may be offered based on performance outcomes.
