We're looking for a degree qualified Teacher to join our Learning Support team on a part-time temporary basis for the remainder of 2022.

If you are interested in working in a growing and diverse community this is the position for you.&nbsp; We invite applications from suitably qualified Learning Support Teachers who have a well developed capacity to work collaboratively to support our Students and Teachers.&nbsp;More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with teachers in the implementation of learning and teaching strategies based on individual students’ needs</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Prepare and select suitable teaching resources and materials on a day-to-day basis</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Conduct individualised programs of self-help nature that develop independent skills</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support teaching staff in the development and implementation of personalised plans for students</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Appropriate experience in learning support</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">High quality classroom teaching skills which enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">The ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
