<h4>Are you seeking an exciting new challenge in a new primary school? </h4><p>We are advertising an exciting opportunity to join our team in our new primary school just 40 minutes from the CBD and 5 minutes from the Western Freeway. </p><p>These are ongoing positions classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018 as Education Support Category B (dependent on prior experience and skills). The hours of employment for this position will be for 30 hours spread over five days. </p><p>This position will commence on <b>Monday, August 15, 2022. Applicants must be available for an immediate start.</b></p><p>The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and Child Safe schools. </p><h4><b>KEY SELECTION CRITERIA </b></h4><p>The successful applicant will: </p><ul><li>demonstrate a passion for working with children. </li><li>demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively with staff to adapt and implement learning tasks to meet the needs of children with a range of learning difficulties. </li><li>demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work with students with learning and/or social-emotional challenges and nurture their needs. </li><li>possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity in order to manage students with significant levels of learning or behavioural challenges. </li><li>demonstrate a capacity to play an active role in Program Support Group meetings if required. </li></ul><p>Previous experience will be taken into consideration but is not a pre-requisite. </p><p>The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and is expected to comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy.</p><h5><b>St Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic Primary School is a Child Safe environment.
