<p>The Leader of Learning - History has a significant role as a member of the College Learning Team. The successful applicant must have a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and have demonstrated an ability to improve academic achievement by leading enhanced pedagogical practices. They will be an educator who has demonstrated that they can work collaboratively with a variety of staff to achieve above average results for the students in their faculty. </p><p>The successful applicant will have demonstrated a passion for engaging staff in the enhancement of their own learning and that of their students. They will be an exemplary teacher able to integrate successful practices in programming and assessment and know the latest research on improving learning. </p><p>As a Leader of Curriculum, you will be an innovative, highly skilled and passionate educator with a distinct focus on holistic education. </p><p>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate; </p><ul><li>a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members. </li><li>Relevant secondary education qualifications </li><li>Sound knowledge of NESA requirements and NSW HSIE curriculum, </li><li>Ability and experience to teach History in Stages 4, 5 and 6 </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices. </li><li>be a highly effective, innovative and motivated educator with a passion for learning and teaching </li><li>Demonstrated leadership in curriculum and assessment, </li><li>Sound interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team </li><li>Commitment to academic excellence </li></ul><p>You will have attained: </p><ul><li>a Tertiary qualification in Education </li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) </li><li>an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS. </li></ul><p>Application Process: </p><p>Please submit the following via email to Melinda Melham, College Principal; </p><p>- a covering letter </p><p>- a current resume </p><p>- three referees including name and contact details. </p><p>Email: principal&#64;freemanbonnyrigg.catholic.edu.au</p><p><br /></p><p>Working With Children Check (WWCC)<br /></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
