A qualified and experienced Parent Engagement Officer is needed at The Catholic Schools Broken Bay on a temporary part-time basis.

<p>We are in the market for an experienced and passionate <b>Parent Engagement Officer</b>, to build positive relationships and develop engagement strategies between schools and parents in Catholic Schools Broken Bay. </p><p>This is a temporary part-time opportunity until 30 June 2023. During this engagement you will be required to work 3 days per week (0.6 FTE) and the desired days of work are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p>Reporting to the Acting Community Engagement Manager, your key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>You must be supportive of the Catholic ethos and committed to serving our schools for the ultimate benefit of the thousands of students entrusted to our care</li><li>Work with Catholic School Parents, lead parent engagement strategies and develop strategic support to schools and parents participating in parent engagement activities</li><li>Actively participate in project work to strengthen community engagement</li><li>Work collaboratively with the CSP Management Team Working Party to review and deliver strategic projects</li><li>Serve as a liaison officer between CSP and CSBB leadership</li><li>Collaborate with Principals to ensure P&amp;F/advisory structures are in place and operations by the end of 2022</li><li>Lead CSBB parents in their advocacy and parent representation role in the Diocese</li><li>Research and develop resources on best practices in parent engagement</li><li>Collaborate with school leaders to increase parent engagement in school-based programs and decision-making processes</li><li>Ensure all communication, design work and digital marketing materials for the CSP are created and published in line with CSBB guidelines</li><li>Provide monthly report to the Acting Community Engagement Manager on activities related to CSP and their projects</li><li>Providing a high level of professionalism and customer service to all stakeholders</li></ul><p><b>About You </b></p><p>As the ideal candidate you will meet the following key requirements: </p><ul><li>You must be supportive of the Catholic ethos</li><li>Previous experience in Education and / or Parent Engagement is highly desired</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications</li><li>Significant experience maintaining professionalism when handling highly confidential and sensitive information</li><li>Being a strong team player and assisting colleagues when required</li><li>Relevant qualification in education, community engagement or associated fields are highly desirable but not essential</li></ul><p><b>Application Process </b></p><p>Applications should include: </p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing the criteria listed above.</li><li>A current resume.</li></ul><p>Applications should be sent directly to Malik Ali, Talent Partner at malik.ali&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au </p><p><b>Applications Close on Wednesday, 31 August 2022. </b></p><p><b>Enquiries </b></p><p>If you have any enquiries about this role, please do not hesitate to contact Malik in the Talent team on 0424 862 331 or via email at malik.ali&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au </p><p><b>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for these positions will not be considered. </b></p><p><b>Vaccination Requirements for Our Staff</b>:<i> Our Covid-19 Vaccination Policy requires that all school and Central Office staff have received two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccine or possess a valid contraindication medical certificate.
