Our Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Primary School, Forestville is currently seeking a part time Canteen Manager to join on a permanent basis.

The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>Reporting to the School Principal, Our Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Primary School, Forestville is currently seeking to appoint a Canteen Manager to work Thursday and Friday during school terms to commence in September 2022.</p><p>We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual who enjoys working in the school environment.</p><p><b>Position Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the Diocese of Broken Bay;</li><li>Able to take full responsibility for all areas in relation to Canteen Management <i>(previous experience an advantage)</i></li><li>Supervise and support volunteer staff</li><li>Maintaining a clean canteen &amp; ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures in daily operations</li><li>Food storage and preparation</li><li>Up to date knowledge of food handling requirements</li><li>Consulting with the Principal that canteen policies and financial responsibilities are met</li><li>Be customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with others</li><li>Must love working with children</li><li>Have a valid WWCC</li><li>First Aid Certificate <i>(desirable) </i></li></ul><p><b>Vaccination Requirements for Our Staff </b></p><p>All NSW school staff are required to have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine or have a valid contraindication medical certificate in accordance with the Public Health (COVID-19 Vaccination of Education and Care Workers) Order (No 2) 2021. These requirements are essential to gain employment with Catholic Schools Broken Bay.
