St Michael’s carries out a strong tradition of championing quality education that builds confidence, passion, innovation and inspiration in every student.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">St. Michael's, Blacktown is looking for an experienced, contemporary and passionate Wellbeing Coach to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, commencing Term 1, 2023. More specifically you will:</p> <p dir="ltr"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Wellbeing Coach</span></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work 1:1 with staff members to design and implement strategies to meet specific behavioural needs of students</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work with staff and parents to develop, implement and review Tier 2 and Tier 3 behaviour plans to meet the individual needs of students.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Liaise with the school counsellor, diversity leader and outside agencies regarding student wellbeing.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Monitor behaviour of students, particularly those on Tier 2 and 3 plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Assist staff when students are agitated to de-escalate situations and keep others safe.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Follow up on major behaviours in all aspects</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Positive Behaviour Support for Learning (PBS4L) Coordinator</span></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead and promote the PBS4L whole school processes&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Analyse and present PBS4L data</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work with the CEDP PBS4L Coach t</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Organise and lead PBS4L professional learning opportunities for staff</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Attend PBS4L Community sessions and PL</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Diversity Support</span></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support staff members in creating and updating Personalised Plans, designing adjustments for students based on needs</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support teachers with parent Personalised Plan meetings.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support Diversity leader with Personalised Plans, Case Management, TWLP process.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Grade Coordinator</span></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work with the grade team to plan teaching and learning programs and assessment</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support grade team with parent calls and meetings</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Co-teach in situ with the grade team, giving feedback and setting goals.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Monitor and check programs each term and support grade team with Semester Reports</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of CEDP along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc">Teaching qualifications &amp;
