St Leo's Catholic College, Wahroonga, has a permanent, full-time vacancy for an energetic Teacher of English, commencing in Term 1 2023.

Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>St Leo&#39;s Catholic College, Wahroonga, is seeking to appoint an energetic English Teacher to teach years 7-12.  The successful candidates will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team. </p><p>This is a permanent, full-time position to commence Term 1, 2023. </p><p>We are looking for highly skilled and passionate teachers to inspire, motivate and engage students.</p><p><b>Specific Criteria</b><br /></p><p></p><ul><li>Be suitably qualified to teach Stage 4, 5 and 6 English courses.</li></ul><ul><li>Be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the College.</li></ul><ul><li>Be passionate about quality teaching.</li></ul><ul><li>Be an innovative and engaging classroom practitioner.</li></ul><ul><li>Be able to differentiate the curriculum to suit student needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Be able to be part of a collaborative professional learning team.</li></ul><ul><li>Have a commitment to ongoing professional learning.</li></ul><ul><li>HSC marking experience would be beneficial. </li></ul><ul><li>Be prepared with belief, enthusiasm and passion as we strive Towards 2025 (Strategic Plan).</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Vaccination Requirements for our Staff </b></p><p>Our Covid-19 Vaccination Policy requires that all school staff have received two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccine or possess a valid contraindication medical certificate.
