The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is currently seeking a highly proficient and experienced Temporary Full-Time Leadership Mentor &nbsp;- Growth and Support - Principals to join the team ASAP until the end of 2023, with the possibility to extend.<br>Part-time job share applications will be considered from the right candidates.<br><br><br>The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is responsible for the leadership, operation and management of systemic schools which educate more than 21,000 students in 44 primary schools, 11 secondary schools, one K–12 school, one flexible learning centre and one special school in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.<br><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3><br><br>The Leadership Mentor – Growth and Support (Principals) will work to build the capacity of beginning and experienced principals as effective school leaders working both one on one with Principals and with Principals and their school leadership team to identify appropriate professional goals and develop their professional practice.&nbsp;<br><br>As a member of the Leadership &amp; System Improvement Team they will support the ongoing development and implementation of high-quality professional learning and coaching programs to support a pipeline of future leaders and a culture of innovation and improvement across our Diocese. They will:<br><li>Mentor leaders through:&nbsp;</li><li>Supporting their identification of appropriate professional goals in order to build their capacity as leaders</li><li>Providing quality feedback to develop their professional practices as identified in the Australian Professional Standard for Principals</li><li>In collaboration with colleagues, plan, design and implement high quality professional learning and coaching programs to build leadership capacity and support current and future leaders across our Diocese<br></li><li>Provide appropriate professional development to meet the needs of school leadership teams&nbsp;<br><br>Note: The role of Leadership Mentor – Growth and Support (Principals) does not directly involve performance management, assessment, or supervision.</li>
