Good Shepherd College Board is seeking to appoint a Principal who is an outstanding educator and relational leader. The appointment will commence in January 2023.

<p>Good Shepherd College is a Lutheran school that offers a Lutheran education to all, regardless of background. The College recognises that each person is uniquely positioned to be a blessing in the lives of others, and that leaders have particular influence over those that they are entrusted to lead. The Principal is the educational, pastoral and spiritual leader of the College, and as such is responsible for modelling and promoting a life lived in accordance with the School’s Christian faith, in word and action. The successful candidate will be an active communicant member of a congregation of the Lutheran Church of Australia and have (or will attain) accreditation as required by the Lutheran Church of Australia. </p><p><b>About the College </b></p><p>Located in the heart of the Western District of Victoria, nestled between the Grampians and Port Fairy. The College supports the greater Hamilton region, Good Shepherd College is a P-12 Christian co-educational learning community with 220 students and 28 teaching staff and 22 non-teaching staff. Our mission is to provide a Christian education in the Lutheran tradition that is complete, distinctive, and of quality. The vision of Good Shepherd College is to be a place of faith and learning where every person is encouraged to fulfil their God-given purpose through excellence in education and service to the community. </p><p>Our Prep to Year 6 campus is nestled within the regional centre of Hamilton, on spacious grounds and well-appointed facilities. Located adjacent to the Good Shepherd Early Learning Centre, the campus caters primarily for the early developmental phases of learning within an intimate, nurturing environment. </p><p>The Senior Campus, supporting Year 7-12 students, is set on a picturesque, 100 hectare property located on the outskirts of Hamilton. It offers a broad range of curriculum experiences that provide for multiple pathways for students beyond school.
