Emmaus Catholic College is looking for an Assistant Leader of Learning - TAS. This is a permanent full-time position and attracts a 1Pt Coordinator allowance, commencing Term 1, 2023.

We are always on the lookout for top talent to help us achieve our strategic goal of inspiring the future, through quality catholic schooling and by strengthening the professional lives of our employees.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Emmaus Catholic College is looking for an <strong>Assistant Leader of Learning - TAS.</strong> This is a permanent full-time position and attracts a 1Pt Coordinator allowance, commencing Term 1, 2023.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Be responsible to the TAS Leader of Learning and shares in leading the Emmaus Catholic College Learning Community by supporting the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support the TAS Leader of Learning in ensuring that the TAS KLA delivers high quality contemporary learning and teaching.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Assist the TAS Leader of Learning with quality assessment and reporting, both internal and external.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Undertake a KLA curriculum specific project, initiative or programme that assists the KLA with high quality contemporary learning and teaching.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide sound leadership to and administration of the KLA.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support the implementation of Diocesan initiatives as well as the literacy, numeracy and formation programmes of the College.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contribute, as a member of the Middle Leadership Team, to the cohesive implementation of the overall direction and function of the College.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support subject selections and subject selection counselling.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>To be successful:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Specialise in Industrial Technology-Timber and Mandatory Technology (Essential)&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Able to create effective assessment techniques and have the flexibility to differentiate learning activities for students</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
