Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 20,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.

<p><b>Location:</b> Emmaus Catholic Education Centre, Macarthur</p><p dir="ltr">The Director of Schools invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full time position of Service Engineer, Macarthur region commencing as soon as possible.</p> <p dir="ltr">As members of the Information Communication and Learning Technology Team, the Service Desk and Monitoring Team provide first and second level Help Desk services for school (travel to these sites is required - reimbustment of kms) and office staff to ensure the effective delivery of software and hardware solutions to support student learning.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Support the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.</li> <li dir="ltr">Demonstrate a broad range of technical skills in trouble-shooting software and hardware issues to ensure continuity of service.</li> <li dir="ltr">Provide installation, training and support for school and office computers, AV and video conferencing equipment.</li> <li dir="ltr">Provide advice and support in relation to; <ul> <li dir="ltr">Email, the Google Suite, Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iPadOS and iOS systems.</li> <li dir="ltr">School Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, Mobile Device Management (MDM) Systems and other centrally supplied services/systems.</li> </ul> </li> <li dir="ltr">Manage and deploy Primary School devices such as MacBooks, iPads and Apple TVs using MDM tools.</li> <li dir="ltr">Represent the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li dir="ltr">Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion.</li> <li dir="ltr">Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Certificate IV/Diploma of ICT and demonstrated experience in ICT support.</li> <li dir="ltr">Knowledge of Internet protocols and services.</li> <li dir="ltr">Knowledge and experience of various operating systems including; MacOS, iOS, iPadOS and Microsoft Windows.&nbsp;</li> <li dir="ltr">Experience in implementing a range of Business software, and Directory Services.</li> <li dir="ltr">Experience working in an educational/school environment.</li> <li dir="ltr">Current drivers licence is essential.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>SALARY</p> <p>$100,509 pa (depending on qualifications and experience) + 10.5% superannuation.</p> <p dir="ltr">WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p dir="ltr">This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p dir="ltr">POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">To confidentially discuss your application, contact Catherine Mitchell, Service Desk Manager on 0409159232.</p> <p dir="ltr">Applicants are to complete an online expression of interest which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2 pages) and submit a short CV (2 pages).</p> <p dir="ltr">To submit your expression of interest please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>The Catholic Education Office is an agency of the Catholic Church called to stewardship and service in support of the system of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong.
