Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Ingleburn Parish with an enrolment of approximately 360 pupils.

<p><b>Location:</b> Holy Family Catholic Parish Primary School, Ingleburn</p><p>A permanent full time position 27 January 2023 (4 weeks annual leave per year).</p> <p>The Senior School Support Officer (SSS0) role exists to support the Principal in the effective financial management and administration of the school. The stewardship demonstrated by these two facets of the role is vital to&nbsp; the vision and mission of the school to ensure growth in faith and improvement in learning for all students.&nbsp;</p> <p>The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>maintaining school financial records, processing purchases, receipts, supporting the Principal with the school budget, setting of school fees and debt management&nbsp;</li> <li>liaising with parents and administering&nbsp; the enrolment of students&nbsp;</li> <li>provision of clear communication through reports and weekly newsletters</li> <li>manage the principal’s appointment schedule and calendar&nbsp;</li> <li>provision of a safe workplace through management of school maintenance needs timetabling school support staff&nbsp; to meet student and school requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>A willingness to support the mission and purpose of the Catholic School by upholding the values of Integrity, Justice Hope and Compassion.</li> <li>Proven effectiveness in balancing competing agendas to manage the&nbsp; administrative requirements of the school, system and current legislation.</li> <li>Ability to manage a team to ensure a high level of customer service and timely completion of&nbsp; a school’s administrative processes.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and skill in budgeting, maintaining financial records, and maintaining data and communication systems.</li> <li>Ability to process data in a variety of forms, produce reports and prepare professional development materials.</li> </ul> <p>The following General Capabilities are applicable to the role:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Deliver exceptional customer service .</li> <li>Present have a helpful and positive attitude to all stakeholders.</li> <li>Effective&nbsp; organisational&nbsp; skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively with&nbsp; School Support Officers.</li> <li>Technical competence in word processing, spreadsheet and database management.</li> <li>Demonstrated positive attitude to innovation and change.</li> </ul> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Minimum Certificate IV in Business Administration or relevant discipline, or a commitment to acquiring.</li> <li>Minimum of five years administration/office management experience.</li> <li>Current Senior First Aid Certificate</li> </ul> <p><strong>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</strong></p> <p>This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.</p> <p><strong>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.
