The College is seeking to appoint an exceptional primary teacher to join our Regis Campus which caters for approximately 200 young boys across Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6). This is a full-time, temporary position for 12 months commencing Term 1, 2023.

<p>Saint Ignatius&#39; College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic school for boys in the Jesuit tradition. Located in Lane Cove, Sydney, Cammeraigal Country, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education to both day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12. </p><p>As one of the most prominent schools in New South Wales, Riverview aims to transform young men by empowering them to strive for excellence in all areas of their lives – in their studies and their co-curriculum activities, underpinned by a deepening experience of their faith and involvement in the Ignatian Service Program </p><p>The College is seeking to appoint an exceptional primary teacher to join our Regis Campus which caters for approximately 200 young boys across Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6). </p><p>In collaboration with the Head of Regis, colleagues and parents our teachers of Year 5 and 6 have the responsibility for the academic, pastoral, social and spiritual well-being for the students in their homeroom. </p><p>This is a full-time, temporary position for 12 months commencing January 2023. </p><p>The successful candidate will: </p><p>• accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW. </p><p>• be an outstanding classroom teacher of Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6) </p><p>• possess excellent communication skills and easily form positive relationships </p><p>• exhibit superb organisational skills, allowing you to cooperatively plan with other teachers to manipulate and interpret school data from a range of sources </p><p>• demonstrate experience in implementing Positive Behaviour learning systems in a primary school context to manage student behaviour </p><p>• have a high level of skill in planning, organising, implementing, and supporting engaging classroom programs that align with best practice 21st Century pedagogy </p><p>• be committed to collaborative teaching and learning practices to increase student engagement particularly in a stage 3 context </p><p>• proven ability to bring about successful outcomes in all key learning areas with exemplary expertise in English and Mathematics </p><p>• demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development </p><p>• demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College </p><p>• be willing to contribute to the co-curriculum programs at the College </p><p>• hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people. </p><p><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><br /></p><p>Application must be submitted via our online system and should include the following information in PDF format: </p><p>• Cover letter </p><p>• Resume which includes details of qualifications, relevant experience and the names and contact details of three referees </p><p>• Copies of academic transcripts </p><p>For all questions related to this position please contact Billie Trkulja on <a href="employment&#64;riverview.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">employment&#64;riverview.nsw.edu.au</a> </p><p><b>Applications close Sunday 16 October 2022 </b></p><p><i>Saint Ignatius&#39; College Riverview is committed to protecting children and young people from harm.
