Our Lady of The Way, Emu Plains is seeking a part-time Japanese Teacher for 2023.

As Catholics who live by the Gospel values of faith, hope and love, we believe integrity is essential in living the values of being a safe and inclusive community: compassionate, respectful, just and fair, responsible and cooperative.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are looking for a passionate <strong>Japanese Teacher</strong> to be part of OLOW’s&nbsp; inclusive school environment.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position is 0.6FTE Temporary Part Time, commencing Term 1, 2023 and concluding at the end of Term 4, 2023.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Preferred working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (negotiable).&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>You will:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Teach K-6 Japanese</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Be able to plan and develop learning programs, assess and provide feedback on student learning in alignment with the Japanese syllabus&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have knowledge on how to structure lessons&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have extensive knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Value opportunities to engage with their school communities within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">High quality classroom teaching skills&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
