Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 20,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.

<p><b>Location:</b> Emmaus Catholic Education Centre, Macarthur</p><p>Do you have a friendly personality and great communication skills, with a&nbsp;passion for technology?</p> <p>Are you an enthusiastic person with good attention to detail and problem-solving skills?</p> <p>Do you like working in a team and flourish working independently?</p> <p>The Director of Schools invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified&nbsp;and experienced personnel for this permanent full-time position of Service&nbsp;Engineer, Macarthur region commencing as soon as possible.&nbsp;As members of the Information Communication and Learning Technology&nbsp;Team, the Service Desk and Monitoring Team provide first and second level Help Desk services for school (travel to sites is required — reimbursement of&nbsp;kms) and office staff to ensure the effective delivery of software and hardware&nbsp;solutions to support student learning.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Support the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.</li> <li>Demonstrate a broad range of technical skills in trouble-shooting&nbsp;software and hardware issues to ensure continuity of service.</li> <li>Provide installation, training and support for computers, AV and video&nbsp;conferencing equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide advice and support in relation to;<br>o Email, the Google Suite, Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iPadOS and&nbsp;iOS systems.<br>o Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems,&nbsp;Mobile Device Management (MDM) Systems and other centrally<br>supplied services/systems.</li> <li>Manage and deploy devices such as MacBooks, iPads and Apple TVs using MDM tools.</li> <li>Represent the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Effective interpersonal communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team&nbsp;environment.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion.</li> <li>Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Certificate IV/Diploma of ICT and demonstrated experience in ICT&nbsp;support.</li> <li>Knowledge of Internet protocols and services.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience of various operating systems including;&nbsp;MacOS, iOS, iPadOS and Microsoft Windows.</li> <li>Experience in implementing a range of Business software, and Directory&nbsp;Services.</li> <li>Current drivers licence is essential.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>SALARY</p> <p>$100,509 pa (depending on qualifications and experience) + 10.5%&nbsp;superannuation.&nbsp;</p> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With&nbsp;Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION</p> <p>To confidentially discuss your application, contact Catherine Mitchell, Service&nbsp;Desk Manager on 0409159232.&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online expression of interest which asks to&nbsp;briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2 pages) and submit a&nbsp;Curriculum Vitae (CV).&nbsp;</p> <p>To submit your expression of interest please select the 'Apply Now' button at&nbsp;the bottom of this advertisement.&nbsp;</p> <p><br><em>The Catholic Education Office is an agency of the Catholic Church called to&nbsp;stewardship and service in support of the system of Catholic Schools in the&nbsp;Diocese of Wollongong.
