Since 1983 it has been a Catholic co-educational secondary school situated on the Upper North Shore of Sydney.<br> <br> The College aims to foster individual commitment to the person of Jesus Christ as expressed in the Gospels; promote a climate of love, justice, respect and tolerance for all members of the community; and nourish and enhance the worth and dignity of the individual.<br> <br> It offers a balance of experiences in the spiritual, academic, social, cultural and sporting domains and encourages each student to strive for personal best in all areas by engendering in each student the intrinsic value of learning.<br> <br> <br> <strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>St Leo's Catholic College is seeking to appoint an energetic Technologies teacher to lead the Technologies KLA. The Leader of Learning - Technologies will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and highly successful team.</li> <li>Proven ability to model quality teaching and learning focused on developing high expectations in all classrooms</li> <li>Capacity to promote and facilitate professional learning</li> <li>Ability to mentor the faculty to reflect on current pedagogy and refine their practice</li> <li>Strong knowledge and understanding of the use of assessment and data to improve student growth</li> <li>Capacity to integrate and embed digital technologies into teaching and learning programs</li> <li>Excellent pedagogical and curriculum knowledge to support student learning</li> <li>Capacity to foster a collegial environment that promotes sharing of practice</li> <li>Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to diverse learners</li> <li>Proven ability to work as an integral member of a high-functioning Middle Leaders team.</li> <li>Ability to maintain positive working relationships with parents and the wider school community</li> <li>Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the College</li> <li>Experience in teaching any of the Technologies courses across Stages 4-6</li> <li>HSC marking experience is desirable</li> <li>Comprehensive understanding of WHS policies and practices in relation to the Technologies KLA.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy</strong><br> <br> Our Vision is to provide 'authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion'.
