To do this we strive to be leaders of excellence in Teaching and Learning, Faith Development, Community Engagement and Organisational rigour. </p><p>Riverside is seeking someone to fill the position of <b>Head of Faculty - Science</b>, to work within our Day School campus. The role reports to the College Director of Teaching and Learning and requires a strong focus on providing an outstanding teaching program which meets the needs of all students. </p><p>To be considered for this position, applicants must fit the below position requirements and are urged to read a detailed position description over on the College website outlining key responsibilities and the application process. </p><p> </p><p><b>POSITION REQUIREMENTS </b></p><ul><li>Hold Bachelor of Secondary Education or higher </li><li>Hold a current Queensland teacher registration </li><li>Demonstrated skills to plan and implement evidence based (including data driven evidence based) improvement strategies including the ongoing shaping and reviewing of the vision for effective teaching and learning within the College. </li><li>Personal capacities to effectively lead staff including the ability to enhance staff wellbeing, effectively use change management strategies, and engage in collaborative reflection, learning and action. </li><li>Demonstrated qualities of confidence, flexibility, teamwork, resilience, innovation, and perseverance to grow the capacity of an effective learning community will also be expected.
