<p>Heritage College Knox is a small co-educational college which commenced as a primary school in 2010. We relocated to Ferntree Gully mid 2020 and began secondary school with a Year 7 class in 2021, extending to Year 8 in 2022. The successful candidate should be committed to the ethos of the College. <br /></p><p><b>The Role<br /></b>The Teacher reports to the Principal of the College. The Teacher will be responsible for the delivery of Information Technology and Art for middle year students from Years 5-9 with capacity to teach and develop curriculum through to year 12. The position is a part-time position, 0.4 FTE (negotiable). </p><p><b>Selection Criteria<br /></b>The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate skills in the following: </p><ul><li>Sound subject knowledge in Art in at least two speciality areas </li><li>Sound subject knowledge in Information Technology </li><li>Willingness to work as part of a team</li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>Have a commitment to pastoral care and extracurricular activities</li></ul><p><b>Requirements<br /></b></p><ul><li>Previous teaching experience preferred, but not essential</li><li>Relevant teaching qualifications</li><li>VIT Registration or eligibility for registration to teach in Victoria</li><li>Commitment to the Christian ethos of the College</li></ul><p>For further information please visit our website www.heritage.vic.edu.au.
