We have an exciting Leading opportunity for a highly skilled Coordinator within our Post-School Options team.

<p><b>Location: </b>the Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Parramatta</p><ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Position status: Ongoing permanent full-time</strong></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr"><strong>3 - point coordinator allowance&nbsp;</strong></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Fulfilling leadership opportunity within a highly skilled and passionate team&nbsp;</strong></p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">Post School Options (PSO) is a service area of CEDP that provides personalised intervention to develop transferable skill-based learning. It is offered to students in secondary schools across Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">PSO is future oriented, working from a student’s personal skill audit to build transferable employability and/or foundation skills. The learning context for engagement is determined by the needs of the student through collaborative planning, within the student’s school community.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Our CEDP team is seeking a Post School Options Leader (Coordinator) to be accountable for supporting our strategic intent of improving learning outcomes for all students. More specifically you will :</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead the Post School Options Team in a Learning framework of co designed skills training and interventions to set students up for either economic participation or independence in the community, post school.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support the PSO team who work closely with schools to implement personalised and pathway planning initiatives as well as transition and skill development for students with diverse learning needs.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate and consult with teachers and leaders in schools to design and implement Learning, Wellbeing and Inclusion frameworks to improve learning outcomes for students with diverse learning&nbsp; needs.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contribute to the development and implementation of CEDP Student Services strategy within schools to develop whole school processes to improve student outcomes.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Mentor and collaborate with teachers and school leaders to lead and enable professional learning and to develop capability to execute effective learning interventions.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work systematically to ensure and oversee risk assessment and management plans for student participation.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with school teams to promote partnerships with parents, carers and the wider community</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CEPD along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Appropriate demonstrated experience</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Previous experience working with students who have high support needs&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Previous experience developing and implementing strategies&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Previous educational leadership experience</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We are part of Catholic Education – Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) a system of schools committed to responding to the needs of students in a world that is changing rapidly.
