<p><b>The Opportunity </b></p><p>Grace Lutheran College is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Chaplain to serve as part of our dynamic Ministry team at the Rothwell campus. The Chaplain will need to be a gifted-but-humble leader with experience in effective ministry to youth (especially boys), pastoral care, engaging communication (including up-front), building teams and organisation. They will need to have a fantastic attitude, be effective at collaborating and be clearly called to this type of Christian ministry. </p><p><b>Reporting to:</b> Senior Chaplain </p><p><b>Position type:</b> Permanent, Part Time, Term Time 19.5 hours over 3 days per week </p><p><b>Anticipated Commencement Date: </b> Monday, 16 January 2023 </p><p><b>About you - Specific Requirements </b></p><p>Qualifications, Certifications and Work-related Experience: </p><ul><li>Clear sense of calling to high school chaplaincy ministry, supported by an authentic and healthy spiritual life.</li><li>Demonstrated gifting in pastoral care and leadership, with a skillset that includes team building, engaging/accurate communication (including up front) and strong self-leadership.</li><li>Competency in providing caring and professional pastoral care to students.</li><li>Strong organisational skills that can juggle multiple priorities and provide effective and timely communication to key stakeholders.</li><li>Certificate IV of Youth Ministry (or similar) or working toward this.</li><li>Working with Children accreditation (Blue Card) or ability to obtain this accreditation.</li></ul><p><i>Important: All positions vacant advertised on the Grace Lutheran College website require the applicant to address (in writing) specific Selection Criteria that are of particular relevance to the position advertised. </i></p><p><b>About Us </b></p><p>Grace Lutheran College is a large two campus, co-educational secondary school with a strong history of excellent education.
