<p>Aquinas Catholic College is a Systemic Co-educational College located in the Sutherland Shire with an enrolment of 1,108 students and 108 staff. Established in 1993 the College is a welcoming community inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our tailored curriculum is based on our <i>Enlivened Learning</i> philosophy which fosters a growth mindset in uniting faith, wellbeing and learning. </p><p>We are seeking an exemplary teacher with proven HSC results who teaches with passion and commitment to join our Leadership Team commencing on 27 January 2023 or via negotiation. The Leader of Teaching and Learning - Pedagogy gives leadership to the development and maintenance of our <i>Enlivened Learning</i> culture by cultivating a shared vision, focus and practice to promote authentic learning. This includes the coordination and implementation of whole school approaches including Literacy, Numeracy and Newman Gifted Education. </p><p><b>Essential Criteria </b></p><p>The successful applicant will possess/demonstrate: </p><ul><li>A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. </li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education within the Archdiocese of Sydney. </li><li>KLA Coordinator experience with proven capacity and accomplishment in effective use of data to optimise educational outcomes. </li><li>Demonstrated highly effective leadership, collaboration, communication, organisation and time management skills. </li><li>Demonstrated capacity to build, develop and maintain effective teams and develop cooperative and constructive working relationships that promote quality teaching and learning practices. </li><li>Ability to successfully initiate, plan, implement, review and renew programs in response to new educational needs and priorities. </li><li>A willingness to contribute to a range of co-curricular activities. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria </b></p><ul><li>Postgraduate study in Religious Education or Educational Leadership. </li><li>Experience working across several school settings. </li></ul><p>To apply for this position please provide a cover letter (maximum two pages) which outlines how you meet the above criteria along with your current curriculum vitae , including the contact details of three referees (your current and most recent prior Principal) to Mr James Clancy at: principal&#64;aquinasmenai.catholic.edu.au </p><p>Only emailed applications will be considered. </p><p>Applications close Wednesday 14 December 2022. </p><p>Teachers must be registered to teach with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS).
