We have an exciting opportunity for an Inclusive Learning Support Teacher to join our small, welcoming community at the Rockhampton Flexible Learning Centre.

<p><b>Inclusive Learning Support Teacher </b></p><p><b>Full Time Ongoing </b>(includes a 6 month probation period) </p><p>Rockhampton Flexible Learning Centre is a coeducational Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition. It has a clear commitment to social justice and stands in solidarity with disadvantaged people of all social, cultural and religious backgrounds with a particular sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. We endeavour to employ people that have the drive and motivation to work towards successful outcomes for our young people. </p><p>We are seeking applications from both primary and secondary trained Teachers. The position will commence at the start of the 2023 school year. </p><p><b>What is the role? </b></p><p>The role of the Inclusive Learning Support Teacher is to support other staff to ensure that the assessed identified needs of young people are met. Specifically, to support the development and implementation of effective, inclusive learning and teaching programs for young people. This includes conducting learning assessments to assist in the identification of individual learning needs and providing intensive individual intervention when required. The position involves working directly with children and young people on a daily basis and therefore must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate child safeguarding behaviours when engaging with children.
