St Dominic’s College, Kingswood is a Catholic school in the Blessed Edmund Rice tradition conducted by Edmund Rice Education Australia. Founded by the Christian Brothers in 1959, the College has a current enrolment of 1000 boys, Years 7 – 12. The mission of St Dominic's College is to create a caring environment where excellence in Education is evident within the Catholic tradition and the Spirit of Edmund Rice.

<p>The College is looking to appoint a highly motivated, suitably qualified teacher beginning Term 1, 2023 or by negotiation with the College Principal. </p><p>The role involves face-to-face teaching of Stage 4, 5 &amp; 6 Mathematics. </p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to the advancement of student learning and; </p><ul><li>Must have a working understanding of, and strong commitment to Catholic values, morals and faith in an Edmund Rice School; </li><li>Must have a strong work ethic and be committed to the continual improvement of their teaching practice and take opportunities for ongoing professional development;</li><li>ill be able to collaborate with staff and students to create a positive learning environment, utilising strong communication and inter-personal skills</li><li>Will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the unique pastoral needs of young men; </li></ul><h5>Highly Desirable Criteria: </h5><ul><li>Demonstrated ability and knowledge of the values of Catholic education. </li><li>The ability to teach Stage 4, 5 &amp; 6 Mathematics. </li><li>Demonstrated teaching experience at all levels. </li><li>High ICT skillset within a contemporary blended learning environment. </li><li>Commitment to improving student outcomes. </li><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff and students in enhancing the quality of learning and development of young minds.</li><li>Be actively involved in, and supportive of, College extra-curricular activities.</li></ul><p>Applicants are encouraged to visit the College website www.stdominics.nsw.edu.au for further information about the College.
