<p><i>Established in 1879, St Aloysius&#39; College is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1200 students. </i></p><p><i>The College is conducted by the Society of Jesus and is part of a worldwide network of Jesuit primary and secondary schools and universities. </i></p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p><b>Music Teacher – Part-Time (0.6FTE) </b></p><p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our excellent Music Department. Demonstrating a commitment to fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty members in the development and implementation of innovative Music programs that will inspire and empower the creative minds of the next generation. </p><p>This is a fixed-term part-time (0.6FTE) position for Term 1, 2023 and will report to the Head of Music. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate: </p><p>• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition; </p><p>• Possess secondary teaching qualifications, with demonstrated experience in teaching Stage 4 and 5 Music; </p><p>• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with teachers in the development, implementation and evaluation of NESA-based programs; </p><p>• Proven experience as an active musician engaged in music ensembles is desirable; </p><p>• Proven ability to facilitate a warm, engaging and high-quality learning environment that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students; </p><p>• High level of interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with staff, students, parents and the broader College community; </p><p>• Excellent ICT skills and the ability to integrate technology into learning programs to improve educational outcomes; </p><p>• Ability to attend out of hours’ events and co-curricula Music programs, including on weekends; </p><p>• Strong commitment to child safeguarding principles; </p><p>• Possess a valid Working with Children Check. </p><p><b>How to apply </b></p><p>For more information about the College, this opportunity, selection criteria and the application process please visit the College website: <a href="https://www.staloysius.nsw.edu.au/about-us/employment/current-opportunities" rel="nofollow">https://www.staloysius.nsw.edu.au/about-us/employment/current-opportunities</a> </p><p>Only applications received via <a href="mailto:recruitment&#64;staloysius.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">recruitment&#64;staloysius.nsw.edu.au</a> will be considered, and St Aloysius’ College reserves the right not to proceed with any appointment. </p><p><i>St Aloysius’ College is committed to protecting children and young people from harm.
