Applications are invited from suitably qualified Diverse Learning/general teachers for a full time permanent position commencing January 2023. Applicants must be reliable, demonstrate high levels of professionalism and actively support the college ethos. The position will be teaching and supporting Stage 4 and Stage 5, and Stage 6 in 2024

It is a part of the exciting reimagining of the Eastern-Shire precinct in partnership with De La Salle College Cronulla, Our Lady of Mercy College Burraneer and within the parish of Our Lady of Fatima Caringbah. With our first Year 11 cohort in 2024, the College is at a unique and exciting phase of its development and growth. Our goal is to empower each young person in our care as a person of faith, respectful of the dignity of each person knowing all are made in the image and likeness of God.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Our teaching and learning environment is one built on personalised learning with the aim to empower students to take charge of their own learning; honouring their differing interests, abilities, career aspirations and goals for a contemporary world. They are creative, innovative and collaborative whilst flourishing in a complex world, addressing global challenges with justice and compassion.</p><p>The college is currently seeking applications for the position of Diverse Learning/classroom teacher. Suitable applicants from both Primary and Secondary Schools are welcome to apply.</p><p><br /></p><p> Applicants must be reliable, demonstrate high levels of professionalism and actively support the College ethos. </p><p>This is a full time permanent position commencing January 2023.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><p>It is essential for the applicant to demonstrate the following:</p><ul><li>a commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith. </li><li>highly effective teaching skills and a clear understanding of modern pedagogical practice and qualifications to teach. </li><li>an ability to build strong working relationships with staff, students and outside agencies and work as part of a team. </li><li>an ability to incorporate innovative ICT skills in teaching, learning and administration.</li><li>a knowledge of learning difficulties, disorders and appropriate support and intervention strategies.</li><li>experience writing and implementing personalised learning plans.</li></ul><p><b>Applications:</b><br /></p><p>All submissions should be addressed to Mr Peter Buxton, Principal, and emailed to Tony Carson- anthony.carson&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au by 3pm, Wednesday 14 December 2022. </p><p>Applicants should include a one page letter of application together with a current resume which includes three professional referees.</p><p><br /></p>
