The Director - Identity &amp; Formation is a member of the Lutheran Education Queensland team reporting to the Deputy Executive Director - Education and accountable to the Executive Director. The Director - Identity &amp; Formation will work consultatively and collaboratively within the team to ensure the operations of Lutheran Education Queensland are carried out in a highly professional and cohesive manner. <div> </div><div><br /></div><div>The primary objective for the position of Director - Identity &amp; Formation is to provide support and care to the schools of the District with matters of Lutheran identity and staff formation. </div><div><br /></div><div>The Director - Identity &amp; Formation is responsible for five (5) broad functional areas within Lutheran Education Queensland. These are referred to as the five “Essential Practices”, as follows: </div><div>• Spiritual Formation of Staff </div><div>• Teaching of Christian Studies </div><div>• Service Learning </div><div>• Pastoral and Restorative Practices </div><div>• School Chaplaincy </div><div><br /></div><div>The Director - Identity &amp; Formation is expected to act within the delegated authorities of the role, exercise independent judgment in a confidential manner, and exhibit strong communication skills, discernment, sensitivity and discretion in all business interactions.</div><div><br /></div><div>This position is a full-time 5-year contract.  Refer to the position description for further information, including the Key Selection Criteria.</div><div> </div><div> </div>
