Sapphire Coast Anglican College, Bega is a leading co-educational Pre-Kindergarten – Year 12 School on the Far South Coast.

<p>Learning Support Teacher&#39;s Aide – Year 7</p><p>At present, we are inviting applications for a Full-time, Year 7 Teacher&#39;s Aide to join the team of staff on our picturesque 24-hectare property. This position commences in Term 1, 2023 and is on-going. </p><p> Working as part of the Learning Support faculty, this role focuses on Year 7. It may be necessary, on occasion, to support other secondary students. Alongside normal duties, you will help to provide direct and timely specialist assistance to students in regular classes who have additional learning and support needs. In doing so, you will be promoting a strong culture of inclusivity where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their potential. More specifically, this position: </p><p>• provides in-class support to teachers and students, including 1:1 work when needed </p><p>• supports teachers in the adjustment of curriculum materials and resources </p><p>• supports students to meet their personalised plan goals </p><p>• helps with student&#39;s self-care where required </p><p>• provides administrative assistance </p><p>• provides supervision and assists staff and students during practical lessons The ideal candidate is/has: </p><p>• prepared to commit to the goals of our Christian culture </p><p>• in possession of a valid Working With Children Card (WWC) number • professional experience as a teacher&#39;s aide and/or special education, with relevant qualifications </p><p>• a flexible and adaptable team player with strong organisational skills </p><p>• experience in the use of Information Technology </p><p>• personable and dynamic with a flair for effective communication at all levels </p><p>• an advocate for students with diverse learning needs </p><p> We are interviewing for this role in the week of 14th January 2023, however, the College reserves the right to appoint sooner if possible, so early application is strongly advised.
