The role is a temporary full time position for Term 1 2023, however, could continue beyond this date.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Position criteria:&nbsp; The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have experience teaching Science &amp; Junior Mathematics courses.</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">See themselves as learners and be committed to ongoing professional learning;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work collaboratively with Leaders of Learning KLA and peers to design&nbsp;inquiry learning experiences where students exercise choice to demonstrate knowledge and understanding;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead the development of social skills and nurture the&nbsp;growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Integrate digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform ‘next steps’ for students;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and pedagogy and how these underpin:</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">inquiry-based learning (including PBL);</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">creativity and critical thinking;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">responses to complex real-world questions and authentic problems;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Know and apply NESA and Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) requirements.</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">have demonstrated the understanding and application of the whole school policies and procedures concerning WHS and student welfare.</p> </li> </ul> <br> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Please include 3 referees with contact mobile phone numbers.</strong></p> <br> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Closing date:&nbsp;3rd February 2023</strong></p> <br><br></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p>
