<p>Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School conducted in the Lasallian tradition, with an enrolment of 2,000 students, boys Years 7 to 10, co-educational in Years 11 and 12. Oakhill College is located in Castle Hill, NSW, and offers a wide range of subject choices and extra-curricular activities. </p><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for the following position. </p><p><b>Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher </b></p><p><b>Full-Time Permanent Position </b></p><p><b>Commencing 2023 </b></p><p>Due to growth Oakhill College seeks to appoint an innovative, experienced, and highly skilled TAS teacher with excellent communication skills and classroom experience. The successful applicant will have knowledge of current developments in teaching and learning and a passion and enthusiasm for teaching. </p><p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, the areas listed below: </p><p><b>Key duties and responsibilities </b></p><p>• Stage 4, 5 and/or 6 TAS teaching experience is highly desirable; </p><p>• Teaching Technology Mandatory; </p><p>• Ability to teach any other TAS subject e.g. D&amp;T, Graphics, Timber, or Computing is advantageous but not essential; </p><p>• Use effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes; </p><p>• Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment; </p><p>• Managing student behaviour; </p><p>• Assessing, providing feedback and reporting on student learning. </p><p><b>The successful applicant will: </b></p><p>• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School; </p><p>• Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College; </p><p>• Adhere to the Colleges Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures; </p><p>• Teach with excellence, professionalism and commitment; </p><p>• Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence. </p><p>Oakhill College is committed to innovative high-quality teaching and learning and offers excellent facilities and resources.
