Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) serves Catholic school communities across Illawarra, Macarthur, Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven regions. <p><b>Location:</b> Catholic Education Office, Wollongong</p><p>The Director of Schools invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full time position with Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) commencing as soon as possible.</p> <p>This position sits within the Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Team, a dynamic and energetic sub-team that contributes to the broader People and Culture service area through the design and delivery of a comprehensive workplace safety and wellbeing framework.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>SCOPE OF THE ROLE:</p> <p>This position exists to coordinate the administrative requirements of Workplace Safety and Wellbeing within CEDoW specifically supporting the functions undertaken by the Workplace, Safety and Wellbeing Team.&nbsp; The position will have a varied workload performing a range of administration, processing and support services across the team with particular responsibilities including:</p> <ul> <li>Workers compensation claims registration and first point of contact liaison with CEDoW’s worker compensation insurer.</li> <li>Records and file management for Workplace Safety and Wellbeing matters.</li> <li>Triaging of WHS enquiries via email or phone.</li> <li>Data management and support with the preparation of Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Reports.</li> <li>Maintenance of&nbsp; the Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Gateway site.</li> <li>Assisting with the preparation of materials and resources for presentations .</li> <li>Provision of administration support for Workplace Safety and Wellbeing projects.</li> <li>Managing the preparation of wages records relating to workers compensation.</li> <li>Preparing and submitting wage reimbursement schedules for workers compensation claims.</li> <li>Processing of invoices for payment relating to Work Health and Safety expenses.</li> </ul> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the G Suite applications (including Gmail, Google docs, Google sheets, Google slides, Google forms).</li> <li>Demonstrated capacity to utilise internal operational computer systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong knowledge of administrative practices and document/records management.</li> <li>Excellent planning and organisation skills, forward thinking and initiative, and a highly proactive manner.</li> <li>A high level of confidentiality, discretion and good judgement.</li> <li>Confidence and professionalism in interpersonal and relationship management , and the ability to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Knowledge of and/or experience with the workers compensation process</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>An understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic system of schools.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Minimum Certificate IV in administration or similar.&nbsp;</li> <li>At least 3-years experience working in the field of administration.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required before your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>SALARY</p> <p>$71,222 p.a. + super (depending on qualifications and experience) pro-rata.&nbsp; A 6-month probationary period will be applied to this position.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Please contact Susan Phillipson, Workplace Safety and Wellbeing on 0438 528 360 if you wish to discuss this position further.&nbsp;</p> <p><em>To submit your application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.&nbsp; Applicants should address the essential criteria and submit a short CV as part of their application.</em></p> <p><em>The Catholic Education Office is an agency of the Catholic Church called to stewardship and service in support of the system of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong.
