We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Officer who will assist the Director of Risk to advance Ravenswood’s risk and compliance culture and processes, across all departments of the school.

<p><b>The School:</b></p><p>Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. It is a school where staff enjoy a range of benefits that foster health and wellbeing, and students achieve outstanding academic success supported by innovative teaching practices that are underpinned by a whole school approach to Positive Education. </p><p><b>The Role:</b></p><p>We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Officer who will assist the Director of Risk to advance Ravenswood’s risk and compliance culture and processes, across all departments of the school. This is a part time position working 19 hours per week across 3 to 4 days a week. </p><p>The Risk and Compliance Officer will be responsible for administering and coordinating the school’s use of its Risk Management program (CompliSpace) and for contributing to the day-to-day operations of the team through the delivery of high quality, accurate and efficient administrative service. </p><p>Key skills and competencies:</p><ul><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in risk management will be highly regarded </li><li>Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office based software. </li><li>Familiarity with the CompliSpace online risk management and assurance system will be highly regarded. </li><li>Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a team environment. </li><li>Confidential. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Familiarity with school or education setting desirable. </li><li>Experience in dealing with the unexpected and the ability to remain calm and confident while doing so. </li></ul><p>Personal Attributes </p><ul><li>Calm, warm, collegial and professional at all times. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li><li>High level organisational and planning skills. </li><li>Initiative, perseverance, attention to detail. </li><li>Ability and willingness to evaluate and critically reflect upon own professional practice. </li><li>Ability and willingness to contribute positively to the wider life of the School and support the Guiding Principles. </li></ul><p><b>To Apply: </b></p><p>Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume. </p><p>Ravenswood will begin to review applications prior to the application closure date.
