We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to work 36.25 hours per week during term-time on a 2-year contract, at our Wahroonga campus. The role will assist and support the front office with general administrative processes and responsibilities. The role is varied and will require the applicant to prioritise their tasks on a daily basis and have great attention to detail.

We provide a holistic education, offering outstanding academic programs taught by special educators with the support of our dedicated therapy team. </p><p><b>ABOUT THE ROLE </b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to work 36.25 hours per week during term-time on a 2-year contract, at our Wahroonga campus. </p><p>This role is a member of the Administration team which is overseen by the Office Manager. The role will assist and support the front office with general administrative processes and responsibilities. The role is varied and will require the applicant to prioritise their tasks on a daily basis and have great attention to detail.</p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><ul><li>Provide daily backup to the Front Office and Administration Team when required by assisting with general reception duties. </li><li>Provide daily backup to the First Aid and Medications Administrator and assist with administration of medications and first aid to students/staff. </li><li>Maintain the school archiving system in accordance with archiving guidelines. </li><li>Undertaken morning and afternoon Traffic supervision daily. Provide clear instructions to parents/carers/drivers and pedestrians to assist them at designated school drop-off/pick-up sites, in accordance with approved procedures. </li><li>Under the direction of the ICT and Purchasing Coordinator manage the school library system, assist with the distribution, asset creation and stocktake of IT equipment, assist with loading software upgrades and applications to school ipads, assist classroom staff with the use of IT and Audio-Visual equipment and other various administrative tasks as allocated by the ICT and Purchasing Coordinator. </li><li>Responsible for the induction of all community service students. </li><li>Develop good communication with all staff members and establish formal and informal processes for monitoring community service student’s performance. </li><li>Complete risk assessments for all community service students and maintain an effective database of school contacts and community service students. </li><li>Maintain a positive attitude with community service students and ensure that their experience is enjoyable and rewarding by arranging stewardship and various forms of acknowledgement.</li></ul><p><b>ABOUT YOU </b></p><p>The School&#39;s core values are Joy, Community, Courage and Truth.
