Our main site is located at Wetherill Park with 13 satellite classes&nbsp;within the Catholic and Department of Education schools across&nbsp;the Western and South Western regions of Sydney.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><a href="https://www.autismspectrum.org.au/how-can-we-help/going-to-school">Click here to find out more about our schools.</a></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>About the role:&nbsp;</strong>To assist the Principal with the provision of timely administrative support to the school ensuring systems are effective and efficiently kept up to date and, to provide a welcoming customer experience in all interactions with students, families, caregivers and all visitors to the school.&nbsp;To view the full position profile, please click <a href="https://applynow.net.au/jobs/ASPECT1609/assets/18370177">here</a>.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide administrative support to the principal and leadership team</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead administration projects and coordinates ongoing management of projects to meet the school’s business plan</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Supervise and coordinate the tasks of other clerical/administrative and general assistants in the school</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Update and maintain school records in an orderly and systematic way including ensuring records are maintained in the school’s database.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Organise events and meetings as required by the Principal – this may include taking minutes, creating agendas, managing invitation lists and other logistics</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure that first point of contact with visitors is professional, positive and informative</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide a welcoming and supportive customer experience for all stakeholders.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and implement Excel spreadsheets to assist with financial and administration reporting systems</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare letters, newsletters, email communications, memos, reports, employment contracts and other documents as required</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Actively contributes to and participates in cross school administration initiatives to streamline and improve administration systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist Principal with Workcover administration</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform other general administrative duties as required</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Skills, experience and qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite of software</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge or experience in using a database such as TASS, Salesforce, or other student database program would be an advantage</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge and/or experience in the education or disability sector</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Minimum two years of experience in a senior administration role</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Exceptional customer experience skills</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">National Police Check and&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">NSW Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">There is a requirement to work an additional ten (10) days outside school term time (this is included in the salary).</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What we offer:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ongoing learning opportunities for advancement</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent salary packaging options to increase your take home pay</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Employee referral incentives</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">EAP services</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Discounted Fitness Passport membership options</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">An hourly rate of $35.84 per hour will be offered for the role and is adjusted to cover school term and non-term time.&nbsp;
