The Administration Assistant: Reception position is 37.5 hours per week spread over five days, but this can be negotiated with the successful candidate. These hours apply to 42 weeks of the year, made up of 40 weeks of school term time plus two weeks of school holiday time throughout the year. There is potential for the successful candidate to take on the role of Administration Team Leader.

<p><b>Administration Assistant: Reception</b></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, Christ centered school community. The successful applicant will be supportive of the Lutheran ethos and values of the school, and comply with all school policies and child safe procedures. </p><p>The Administration Assistant: Reception is employed as a support person within the school and provides assistance to the school community as required. The successful candidate may be considered for the role of Administration Team Leader. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br /></p><p><b> </b>The successful candidate will demonstrate…</p><ul><li>High level ICT skills, including Microsoft Office software, database, Facebook, website and other digital communication applications</li><li>An ability to prioritise and delegate work tasks during busy periods</li><li>A high level of communication and support for parents and staff</li><li>Logistical and planning skills that support major school events such as parent teacher interviews, end of year services and large community gatherings</li><li>Compassion when dealing with children in regards to injuries, first aid, absences and attendance<b>                                 </b></li></ul><p><b>Personal Requirements and Specific Attributes</b><br /></p><p>The Administration Assistant: Reception will demonstrate:<br /></p><ul><li>Discretion, confidentiality, honesty and integrity in his/her relationships</li><li>high quality interpersonal and organisational skills</li><li>A clear desire to develop his/her skills through collaboration</li><li>An ability to form positive relationships with students and families and a desire to support them</li><li>Flexibility to deal with a constantly changing school environment</li><li>Evidence of Working With children Check or ability to obtain such</li><li>Senior first aid certification or ability to obtain such</li><li>A professional attitude towards educational policies, procedures and expectations.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
