<p>A highly motivated Learning Support Officer is required to join our teaching team at St Joseph’s at the commencement of Term 1, 2023.  The advertised position is full-time, however this is negotiable.</p><p><b>The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:</b><br /></p><p>• A passion for learning </p><p>• An awareness and knowledge of various learning disabilities and an understanding of their impact on student learning </p><p>• The ability to participate in and maintain a positive team environment </p><p>• A commitment to demonstrate positive relationships with students and teachers </p><p>• A strong commitment to well-being and knowledge of child safety practices </p><p><b>Special Requirements: </b></p><p>• A qualification in Education Support is desirable. </p><p>• Must be available Monday - Friday.  Hours are negotiable... 8:50am -3:15pm or 8:50am - 1:20pm</p><p>• Applications must include the names and contact details of three current referees. </p><p>The successful candidate would be required to have appropriate Criminal Records Checks and Working with Children Check.</p><p>St. Joseph’s school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, therefore the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of, and a commitment to, providing a safe environment for children.</p>
