The role is to provide assistance and support to the classroom teacher within a supportive team environment. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The successful applicant must be able to:</b><br /></p><p>- show a commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students</p><p>- an understanding of the needs of the diverse needs of students who require individual and classroom support</p><p>- ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member</p><p>- have excellent communication skills</p><p>- be organised, supportive and resourceful.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>You will have attained:</b></p><p>- a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Working With Children Check (WWCC)</b></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment. You will need to have received your Sydney Catholic Schools Employment ID Number and completed the SALT modules.
