We are looking for a passionate Teacher's Assistant on a part time basis (24 hours per fortnight on Thursdays and Fridays) for the 2023 school year!

It forms the basis for all of our daily interactions.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">St Mary’s Primary in Rydalmere are looking for a passionate Teacher's Assistant to join our supportive team on a part time basis (24 hours per fortnight on Thursdays and Fridays) for the 2023 school year.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">working in collaboration with a Teacher or group of Teachers in the implementation of learning and teaching strategies for an individual student, groups of students or class, including students with special needs and recognised disabilities, and gifted and talented students</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">assisting with the selection and preparation of teaching resources that meet student needs and interests</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">support learning environments where students with a range of learning abilities can flourish and thrive</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">carrying out individual programs of a self help nature that develop independent living skills in students</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CEPD along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong planning and organisational skills</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A willingness to be involved in the broad life of the School</p> </li> </ul> <p><br><br></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and accreditations:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
