<p>Loreto Normanhurst is a leading Catholic, independent day and boarding school for girls in Years 5-12. Working at Loreto Normanhurst means being part of a caring, faith-filled community rich in history and innovation, where professionalism and commitment to excellence are valued in every role. </p><p>We are seeking an experienced HSC/Exam Presiding Officer to join our Team in a casual capacity. The role is responsible for managing the exam supervision and conduct of HSC and trial exams and other assessments in the School to ensure they are run efficiently and in keeping with the relevant NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority) policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be employed by NESA for the HSC period and employed by the School for the Year 11 Examination Block and the HSC Trial Examination Block in addition to the HSC. </p><p><b>The Role </b></p><ul><li>Manage and coordinate a team of Exam Supervisors, including creation and management of work rosters for the exam period </li><li>Manage confidentiality of exam conduct </li><li>Manage student’s exam conduct </li><li>Check and organise exam materials before and after each exam </li><li>Manage conduct of approved disability provision for students </li><li>Follow NESA’s administrative and security procedures </li></ul><p><b>Qualifications, Skills and Experience </b></p><ul><li>Be available to preside daily over the Year 11 Examination Block (28 August – 8 September), the HSC Trial Examination Block (31 July to 14 August 2023) and the full HSC exam period: 11 October to 3 November 2023 </li><li>Ability to work well independently, be self-motivated and take initiative </li><li>Be highly organised and have good attention to detail </li><li>Be able to effectively manage students and a team of supervisors </li><li>Have intermediate working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite </li></ul><p><b>Why Work at Loreto Normanhurst </b></p><ul><li>Fantastic opportunity to join a leading school in girls’ education. </li><li>Access to first class facilities and excellent resources. </li><li>Access to high quality professional learning and career development opportunities. </li><li>Onsite cafe and staff car park. </li></ul><p>Applicants must submit a cover letter addressed to Ms Ugonotti, the Principal, a CV and copies of relevant qualifications or certifications.
