<p>We are seeking applications from experienced and organised Food Technology Assistants for a Term 2 part-time replacement position at Nazareth College. </p><p>The Food Technology Assistant is responsible for assisting the food technology department with the preparation for classes and ordering supplies. It includes assisting teachers with class preparation, assisting in class, maintaining cleaning, laundry, ordering and receiving of supplies, and cleaning and maintenance of equipment (facilitated by external suppliers). </p><p>Ideally, the candidate will have experience in food preparation and/or catering, implementing food safety guidelines, and be able to follow policies and procedures regarding the standard of cleanliness required.</p><p>The role can be physical and requires a person who is looking for a challenge and who is able to foster positive relationships with students and staff.  They will also need to be a positive, adaptable, supportive, and organised presence in the Food Technology and College Community and have the ability to work both in a team and individually</p><p>A qualification in food preparation and stock control would be highly regarded.</p><p>The successful applicant must have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well-being of children.  They must hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check card and a National Police Record Check before the commencement of employment. </p><p>Please visit the College website www.nazareth.vic.edu.au for the Non-Teacher Application form, Position Description, and further information regarding this position. </p><p>Applications must be emailed to the Principal, Mr Sam Cosentino via employment&#64;nazareth.vic.edu.au. </p><p>Applications close 4.00pm on Monday 3 April 2023.</p><p><b>                      <u>Nazareth College is committed to the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all students in its care. </u></b></p><p><br /></p>
