We are looking for a Leader of Learning -  Pedagogy and Innovation who has a well developed capacity to support our mission of Catholic Schools and maximise learning outcomes for our students and build the capacity of staff.

At Delany, we seek to ensure that our students, their development, wellbeing and career pathways are at the centre of all we do.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are looking for a <strong>Leader of Learning -&nbsp; Pedagogy and Innovation</strong> who has a well developed capacity to support our mission of Catholic Schools and maximise learning outcomes for our students and build the capacity of staff.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>This position attracts a 3 Point Coordinator allowance and a 0.7FTE Teaching load.</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have a high level of proficiency in developing engaging/relevant and differentiated learning programs and teaching strategies which cater for all levels of achievement</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work as a member of the leadership team to promote learning and school improvement</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with others to promote excellence in pedagogy and develop engaging learning/assessment opportunities for students.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">In collaboration with the Leadership Team of the College, lead middle leaders to ensure compliance with all NESA/system requirements</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate knowledge of how to use targeted feedback and data in order to create differentiated teaching programs and improve student learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate ability in coaching /mentoring middle leaders/ teachers to improve pedagogical practice and therefore student learning outcomes</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate ability as an innovator and agent of change in the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of curriculum development and the&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Fostering of a culture of reflective practice through data analysis&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">In partnership with the leadership team, build the capacity of teachers to:</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Set learning goals</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Track, record and analyse data to support teaching and learning&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with senior leaders and learning mentors to promote student wellbeing to enable full engagement of students with their learning</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Delany College along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated leadership experience in a school setting</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability in building capacity in self and others</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to analyse data to improve pedagogy and learning&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Deep knowledge of one or more Learning Areas (essential)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Applications must include a CV and cover letter addressing the selection criteria and outlining your teaching areas.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
